The mission of Flint Student Ministry is to communicate the love of Christ to students in modern and relevant ways by helping open their eyes and hearts to God’s Word through our loving relationships and connecting them to God and other believers.
The Student Ministry at Flint Baptist Church exists to help students understand who they are in Christ and how their faith can make a difference in the world around them. We believe the Christian life is a journey with incredible opportunities to connect with God and allow Him to mold us into the people and leaders He created us to be.
The Flint Student Ministry (FSM) is where you can connect with other students and grow in your walk with God. Each week we offer on campus worship services, small groups, and opportunities for Christian service in the Flint and surrounding communities. Additionally, we also provide a number of retreats, conferences, and mission trips throughout the year.

DNOW (Youth 7th-12th Grade)
February 18-20, 2022
“DNOW” stands for Disciple Now. In its simplest form, a Disciple Now weekend is a retreat for a youth ministry. There are a few distinctions that provide a unique environment for your students to grow spiritually:
Host Homes & Small Groups
DNOW Weekend points students deeper into relationship with Jesus and deeper into relationship with their peers by bringing the gospel into their lives.
DNOW will primarily take place at Flint Baptist Church in the Student Center, however students will sleep in assigned host homes with their small group each night. Small groups will be based on gender and grade (example: 9th grade girls, 10th grade guys, etc.)
(If you are interested in being a host home, please email Macy at firstname.lastname@example.org)
