Welcome to Flint Buddies!
At Flint, it’s our passion to see children and adults with developmental differences grow in their understanding of God’s great love for them.
Because we understand the unique challenges of caring for a child with special needs, it’s our mission to offer support to the whole family. Our warm and inviting atmosphere will have you feeling right at home the moment you step foot on campus.
Your child will experience a sense of belonging and joy after time spent with peers and trained volunteers. It’s our honor to give your loved one the care and personal attention they deserve as we all seek Jesus together.
What to Expect on Your First Visit
Your child will be greeted and welcomed into the Buddies classroom. We will spend time getting to know them. Flint Buddies teachers and volunteers are there to provide access to Bible stories, crafts, music, games, puzzles and snacks. We intentionally meet each child on their level.
9 AM: We offer our Flint Buddies classroom and/or children’s church with support.
10:30 AM: Classroom only
How to Get Started
If you are ready to get your child plugged into the program, please fill out the following Student Profile, to help us get to know more specifics before your first visit. Bring your child on a Sunday morning to our Children’s Building, where the Flint Buddies classroom is located. Our Special Needs Director, Kelly Kirk, and our volunteers will be ready for you!
